What is a Sound Bath Meditation?
Sound Bath Meditations are based on the science of vibrational energy.
Every molecule in the universe vibrates—including those in the human body. We use sound vibrations for deep restorative healing on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level.
The sounds introduced during a Sound Bath are an invitation into a deeper state of consciousness, an opportunity to unplug from external stimuli and to gain perspective on what’s going on within you. The experience begins by lying down on a yoga mat (think Savasana at the end of a yoga class), often with a blanket, bolsters and an eye pillow. The Hummingbird Healing Center provides all the props needed for you to have a comfortable experience or you are welcome to bring your own. Each of our sound practitioners at the Hummingbird Healing Center provide unique and distinctive live offerings. Find the one that is right for you!
