What is a Sound Bath Meditation?
When you come to a Sound Bath at the Hummingbird Healing Center everything is provided for you=from yoga mats, blankets, bolsters, eye pillows, meditation cushions, even water. All you need to bring is an open heart.
Sound Bath Meditations are based on the science of vibrational energy. Every molecule in the universe vibrates—including those in the human body. Each practitioner uses the frequencies of different instruments, such as Crystal Bowls and Gongs and various percussion, to slow down your brain waves and put your body, mind and spirit back into balance or homeostasis.
